On Sunday, October 16, 2011, Plug In America, Electric Auto Association and Sierra Club are celebrating National Plug In Day around the country. In Santa Monica, California they are planning an EV parade. Mingle with EV drivers and show off your car while showing the world plug-ins are here!

Highway-capable plug-in vehicles are invited in the area to join the parade as it rolls from the Santa Monica Civic Center down Main Street at 10 a.m. Staging will be in the parking lot from 8:00 a.m. through 9:30 a.m.

A press conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. Parade will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and proceed down Main Street.
